maplestory luminary
maplestory is a 2d mmorpg where you can choose jobs from warrior archer mage and thief that branch out into different jobs as you level up. You gain a bunch of new skills as you level up and can participate in pqs (party quests) where you get a party and finish a quest with them or you can just do some quests on your own to level up faster. First you start as a beginer then you level up until your level 10 (really easy) after that you make sure you have the required things for the job you want to be and you go to the job advancement place (unless you want to be a mage which is at lvl
then you turn into whichever you want to be and you get a whole set of skills you can use. Lets say you turned into a thief because im the most familiar with them. Later when you get to lvl 30 you can advance again. Either to bandit or to assassin. After you get to lvl 70 you can advance again. Each advancement you get better skills that make you alot more stronger. If you get far in the game you would accheive really flashy strong skills.
luminary is 3d and has less players because it just opened beta a while ago but its pretty fun also. You choose from sword spear axe bow cane. You try to level up get stronger and make money (the game will go into politics later) by doing things like manufacturing goods merchanting or just killing monsters and selling their goods. Something in particular that makes me like it more is how you manufacture goods. Like lets say you want to make armor if you go check it it says you need 20 manufacturing skill. So you make sure you have atleast 20 and if you dont you can go buy books for it. Then you need the materials and tools once you get them you can make it. After you click make a mini game comes up that you can play in. Depending on how well you do your armor gets more defence. But the bad part about this game is magic/skills for other classes other than cane. You barely get anything! ex. bow you get fireball (which isnt very strong and takes a while to get) ice (freezes enemy does barely any dmg) and this thing wen fireballs fall from the sky >.> well anyways they all take a long time to get to and arnt very good.
