Well i would recommend super smash bros brawl since it is cute and very fun to play. As others stated metroid prime is adventure but is more puzzle oriented. If u want adventure you could also probably try mario galaxy. There doesnt seem to be gangster games on the wii since it is for the family but u can try resident evil 4 wii edition to feel bad as. The story was kinda lame. But the actions in the game are awesome. So... if you like kicking peoples butts, then that's the game for you. lol Super Smash Bros Brawl is also a good game. However, I find it to be only fun when your playing with others. I would suggest the new GTA, but i'm not sure if they have it on the Wii or not. Well, I can tell you that Bully was an okay game. Metriod IS the best adventur-y game that i know of for the wii. I RECOMMEND IT, GET METROID. Plus, guitar hero III is much better than rockband just so you know.
